Are you ready to get started on the pool of your dreams but not sure how to begin? Creative Pools has a personal approach to its design process, starting with an in-person meeting at your residence. We like to learn as much about you and your lifestyle as possible to understand exactly what your desires for your pool design may be. To make the planning stage run more smoothly, we prefer to have a copy of your plot plan for reference to dimensions and lot size. Then we will take measurements of your space to get the perfect fit for the new pool build.
Next, we take the information gathered during the initial consultation and create a state-of-the-art draft of the design that includes all specifications, dimensions, full color images in 3D and 360º rotation. We will then review the draft with you and make any necessary revisions. Once we have the pool design of your dreams completed, the building process begins.
Building Your New Pool
Our Construction Process
Creative Pools is licensed and insured, and we only employ highly-qualified contractors for our team. The average build-time for a new pool is usually 4 to 6 weeks, depending upon the weather. Our owner, Greg Ballard, personally supervises every build to ensure it is done right the first time. If we think we might run into any delays, we will be sure to contact you immediately and will keep you informed throughout the entire construction process.
Step One: The Dig
Our professional contractors will use the appropriate equipment to dig out the hole for the pool and will then smooth out the edges according to your design.
Step Two: Steel, Plumbing and Electrical
Your pool is then fitted with the appropriate steel, plumbing and electrical components.
Step Three: Gunite
More durable than standard concrete pools, the gunite is a mixture of concrete and sand that is placed over the steel rebar framework from Step Two above.
Step Four: Tile and/or Stone
Depending on which materials you have chosen for your pool, our team will then add those decorative touches that make your design stand out.
Step Five: Plaster
We use high-quality plaster to cover the inner lining, creating a classic look that seals the inside of the pool.
Step Six: Decking
Our finishing team then constructs the desired decking around the pool area to complete the finished look of your design.
Step Seven: Fill it Up and Enjoy!
Your new pool is complete. Now you can invite all your family and friends to start creating lasting memories of fun.
